all songs conceived, performed, and hastily recorded onto computer in 28 days at the bowling alley by aaron smith in february, 2009. (this was part of a challenge to write and record an entire album in one short month, i usually take forever to record an album, since it's just me playing most of the parts. this was no exception. i just had to drink lots of gross energy drinks. it's a raw sound with some noises i would have liked to have had more time to massage, but oh well. this is what you get. i'm proud of it. hold on.)

released March 1, 2009

backing vocals on #8 courtesy of donna baird. extra percussion on #5 provided by the bitter knives (courtesy of apehand records.) drug mummy and the proper nouns added bloopy sounds to #11. thanks to frank moscowitz for the lending of a mic as well technical tips and to bosss who told me not to stop. inspired by caffeine, wearejeneric, 19th century brigandage, fever dreams. album art/photos by aaron.
